Student Technology Team

                                                                                                                                                               
  The Student Technology Team for Woodland Elementary is made up of 4th and 5th graders. They were chosen based on an application process and teacher recommendations.   They have been meeting once a week during lunch and recess to learn new technology skills. 

The team members duties are:

      *  Setting up Smart boards, laptops, and projectors for classroom teachers

      *  Cleaning projectors and laptops

      *  Maintaining and checking laptops in carts for any problems                 

      *  Assist teachers and students with any problems                                             

      *  Taking pictures of special classroom/school activities

      *  Defragment and delete temporary files

      *  Helping maintain our web page

      Tech Squad Requirements:

• Fill out an application and submit  it by the deadline.
• Two teacher recommendations
• Write an essay telling why they would be a good choice for the Tech Team

• Students will be required to maintain a good academic and behavior standing.
• Students will be required to attend one 40 minute meeting each week before, after, or during school.  The time will be determined once the school's schedule is set.
• Students will be required to attend an end-of-the-year district showcase.
